Mojo Monday 289

Mojo Monday- Masculine Thanks

Mojo to the rescue! I used the sketch as a starting point to create a masculine thank you card. I like the fact that the cuts for the triangle created "left-overs"  I can use to make another card with the same sketch.

Mojo Monday 288

Oh Happy Day!

I am happy to have some time to create --- I have been behind with my Mojo Sketches.  This card was created from my scraps - I was able to mix and match and come up with a fun and happy creation thanks to the Mojo Sketch.   Hope you have a happy day and blessed week.

Mojo Monday 284

Masculine Birthday- Mojo 284

Well, I am "coloring outside the lines" a little; kind of "off script" with the sketch but it was a great place for me to start and I like where it ended up.  I have been experimenting with the chalkboard effect and it is fairly easy.  This was the perfect  sketch and stamp for this --- thanks Mojo Monday and Stampin Up.

Mojo Monday 283

Sunshine Thank You Card
I have been wanting to experiment with creating a sunshine card and used a paper template technique I found at the Simon Says Stamp Blog.   I liked the technique but was not sure how to put it all together ---- then along came the Mojo 283 sketch,  it was perfect!   I made this card with items from my stash - I am luvin' it!

Mojo Monday 279

Mojo Monday 279
I put a great deal of love into this card for a dear friend of mine who recently lost her Dad.   The Mojo Monday sketch truly helped me to make something from the heart that would be special for my friend.   I enjoy the sketches and find that I am using more of my stash and definitely making more cards.

Mojo Monday 278

Mojo Monday 278 - V Marie Ceations
So happy to have the Mojo Monday sketches.  Without them,  I seem to keep making the same card over and over in different varieties.  This sketch was fun and flexible and something that I would not have come up with on my own.  I liked the variety of all the elements and was able to use some tools and punches I do not normaly use.    As a personal goal with the sketches,  I have decided to only use items from my stash and it is working.  I was very pleased with the verse from my Verve Stamp Set - Jeremiah 29:11,    it was the perfect sentiment for this card made for a  close friend of mine.

Mojo Monday 275 - "It's ok to be different"

This was a great challenge for me - I decided to get way outside of my comfort zone and follow the advice on my card "It's ok to be different".  This was quite fun, I liked working with the colors and zebra prints. Feel free to leave me a comment - I would love to hear from you.

Mojo Monday Challenge - 274

Mojo Monday Challenge 274

I am so thankful for the Mojo Monday Sketches - they provide me with so much inspiration and sometimes "structure"  that I need to create.

I have been making a lot of calendar cards for the new year so I decided to make one for the challenge.  This card is assembled to be used as an easel calendar.  The card folds flat to make a 4"x4" greeting card as well.

Calendar Easel Card

I decided to send out some Calendar Easel Cards for  the New Year.  The card is assembled so that it will fold flat for mailing.   It is 4.25 x 5.5 so it fits perfectly in standard card envelopes.

Happy New Years and Happy Cardmaking!
